Self-Care Challenge (Day 156): Celebrating Success

I’ve noticed that when I take time to Pink Flowerscelebrate my successes–even the itty bitty ones–it’s much easier to find the motivation to continue working toward my goals.

Celebrating doesn’t mean throwing yourself a party every time you cross an item off your to-do list. It simply means pausing long enough to acknowledge your efforts and achievements.

Journaling has become an integral part of my self-care practice, and it’s been particularly helpful when it comes to celebrating the milestones of my personal goals. Journaling is relatively easy, it doesn’t require fancy equipment, and it’s something I can commit to doing daily. Taking just a few minutes each evening to reflect on the day’s accomplishments brings my successes into focus and also helps build anticipation for the possibilities of tomorrow.

How do you celebrate your successes?
