On day 171 of my 366-day self-care challenge, I started my morning by going to the gym.
More often than not, my Saturday morning routine includes going to the farmers’ market and sometimes going out for breakfast.
But after my husband recently joined the local gym I’ve been using for several months, we decided it was time to incorporate another healthy routine into our weekend: going to the gym together.
Surprisingly, fitting in an hour of exercise before running our usual errands wasn’t that difficult. Even on the weekends we’re up early. Since the gym isn’t far from the market, stopping there before loading up on local produce just seems logical.
It’s amazing how easy it can be to make healthy adjustments.
