Here are some self-care strategies that support your luminescent dimension:

Create a Personal Brand

Much like a business brand, your personal brand is a representation of who you are and what you stand for. Brands show people what they can expect when they interact with you, and it includes everything from the clothes you wear to the words you speak.

It's important to note, however, that when you stand in your truth -- when you live unapologetically true to who you are -- some people aren't going to like you.

And that's okay. 

Living in alignment with your inner truth means that you’ll naturally attract people who are meant to be in your life and repel those who aren’t. And you'll be much happier as a result.

Know Your Strengths

We all possess unique skills and strengths that have the potential to improve the lives of others, but unless we know what those special skills are, we can't achieve our highest potential. And that also means we can't fully be in service to others. 

The Values in Action (VIA) Survey of Character Strengths administered by the University of Pennsylvania is one of my favorite self-assessment tools when it comes to  identifying strengths. Martin Seligman, known as the father of positive psychology in many circles, has done extensive research on the value of enlisting our strengths rather than focusing on our shortcomings.

By better understanding your unique strengths, you can find ways to use them more often. And that's where you'll find the most happiness.

Explore Your Spiritual Beliefs 

The Luminescent Dimension of Self-Care also addresses your spiritual nature and the deeper philosophies you hold about life.

Your spiritual beliefs and perspectives about your place in the world can greatly influence your actions and behaviors. 

Spirituality looks and feels like a lot of different things to different people. For some, it involves being part of an organized religious community. And for others, it's something very private and personal. 

The Luminescent Dimension of Self-Care helps you connect all the various pieces of who you are, so you can show up more confidently and do the important work you're meant to do in this world.
