Yesterday was pretty significant in that it marked the halfway point of this 366 Days of Self-Care challenge!
And how, you might ask, did I celebrate? By getting an eye exam, of course. (Duh.)
Well, I kicked off the morning at the gym. It was booty day, after all. “Work that booty, work that booty, make sure you don’t hurt no-booty!” is our instructor’s all-too-familiar chant on booty day.
But seriously, making time for preventive care is really important. It can help us identify problems before they become bigger problems, and that has the potential to save us a lot of time, money and frustration down the road. Getting regular preventive care should be an integral part of every solid self-care strategy.
As luck would have it, my vision improved this year. (Yay me!) What a fine way to celebrate this project milestone.
How are you doing on your preventive care visits?
